8-7-08 "Good Intentions"

I won't go into the details of this morning, but suffice it to say that good intentions do not always bring forth the fruit we think good intentions are supposed to. It doesn't mean that we should never have good intentions, but for us to think that good intentions are the way to live our lives in service to others, while it is still necessary, falls short compared to living the life of the spirit. I am always convinced (and it's God who convinces me), that trying to do anything without His guidance-even when I have the purest of  motives, fall short of the Glory he wants me to bring to Him. The Message calls Jesus the one of a kind Glory. This morning was a testament to the fallibility of good intentions which were not under the direction  of the Holy Spirit. There was not a fight, but a misunderstanding that robbed me of a few moments that I'll never get back. thank you Jesus for the lesson I seem to have to keep learning. This small reminder probably prepared me for the events of this day, bringing me the sustenance (bread and water) I am going to need for the journey of this day. Once again Your word stands true love Phil

I think that I have finally settled in on a new style header at the top of the home page. Some of you have probably noticed it looking strange lately. I will be placing a weekly scripture verse that pertains to our music site. If you have a scripture that you think will be good to post, send it to me and I will be glad to share it with our viewers.
